Is Your Fleet DOT Compliant?

Answer 10 yes-or-no questions and find the gaps auditors look for first — before they find them.

Question 1 of 10

Does every driver have a complete driver qualification (DQ) file?

Application, MVRs, road test or CDL equivalent, medical certificate, and previous-employer checks.

This checkup is educational and is not legal advice. It covers common FMCSA requirements and does not replace a full compliance review.

Questions About the Checkup

Who should take the DOT Compliance Checkup?

Any motor carrier that operates commercial motor vehicles — owner-operators, small fleets, and larger carriers. The questions about drug and alcohol testing and the Clearinghouse apply to drivers who need a CDL.

Is this the same as a DOT audit?

No. The checkup covers 10 of the most common audit findings so you can spot obvious gaps quickly. A real compliance review looks at the actual documents in each driver file, which we can do for you at no charge.

What does "Not sure" count as?

It counts as a gap. If you cannot confirm a requirement is being met, an auditor will treat it the same way — so it is worth checking.

What happens after I submit my details?

You see your full gap report right away, with the regulation behind each gap and how to fix it. A DOT compliance specialist from Do It Right Screening will also follow up with a free review. There is no obligation.
